Copic Certified

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

While in Syndey I attended a Copic Certification course.  I was one of only about 30 people who attended the first Australian Certification in Australia with Marianne Walker and Lori Craig.

This is Lori, Myself and Marianne

Marianne did a fantastic job instructing us as well as being very entertaining

I don’t know if you can see in this photo but Marianne even coloured her wedding ring green (it comes off with hand sanitiser or a baby wipe).  Marianne has a tendency to Copic colour everything, even her hair!

So this means I can now teach others how to use Copic Markers!  Copic Ciao Markers are now in stock, I’ve started with 72 colours with more being added soon.

Inspiration

Friday, November 13th, 2009

I subscribe to many Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Magazines for inspiration and to help me keep up with new products and techniques.  I received my new Scrapbook Creations magazine about a week ago and I had a flick through but what was very exciting was that SC now comes with a DVD (every issue from now on) I put the DVD to one side to watch when I had some time to spare.

Scrapbook Creations

Today I watched the DVD and it was brilliant.  If you can’t get to classes because of time, financial or location issues, this is an amazing DVD because the classes come to you!  The DVD is 75 minutes long and is hosted by Lorraine Bate who is an amazing crafting icon and teacher.  Lorraine teaches 11 layouts in total and the techniques can be applied to any brand of paper and embellishments.  The pages are fantastic for beginners or if you are an advanced scrapbooker the pages are an ideal base, just add your own personal touches.  I look forward to the next issue.  Here is a link to subscribe to Scrapbook Creations Magazine.

New KaiserCraft Ribbons!

Friday, June 5th, 2009

I’m so very excited to announce that KaiserCraft have just released their long awaited product - Ribbons!  Stock is on it’s way and will be uploaded as soon as it gets here.

Here is a sneak peak of the new Ribbons

KaiserCraft are also publishing a new Magazine due to be released very soon - along with a stack of new papers and Beyond the Page Projects.  I have been informed that the new Magazine has all of the usual step by step instructions that the Workshop Magazines had and lots, lots more (including free papers).  It will be, I’m told, retailing for $5.99 and will be published every 3 months.  I have not yet seen a copy of the Magazine but I’m on the edge of my seat waiting.  We will be stocking the New Products as well as the Magazine as soon as the products are released.
